Cooking Classes at Standard Fare
Announcing our new cooking classes!
The classes are 4 hours long — 5-9 pm Saturday July 23 and July 30. You will receive a recipe packet, snacks, hands-on instruction, and a sit-down 3-course dinner. Classes are small and limited to 12 people.
A Midsummer's Menu
The menu features all the delicious produce of summer! Learn to make a beautiful summer vegetable tian: a colorful layering of eggplant, summer squash, and tomatoes; properly season and roast a pork loin, bake a simple but ravishing olive oil cake, and toss a perfect salad.
- Frisée and arugula salad with roasted peaches, almonds, red wine-shallot vinaigrette, and bacon wrapped croutons
- Arista: roast stuffed pork loin with salsa verde, summer vegetable tian, and sautéed sweet corn
- Peach and raspberry upside-down olive oil cake with noyau crème anglaise
